BlackBerry 9380 spotted again, compared to 9850

The BlackBerry Curve 9380 leaked last week has once again shown up on the web, this time in a video and thanks to Germany's MacBerry. The video, embedded below, confirms the presence of NFC hardware as well as its relative and compact size as compared to the Torch 9850/9860. The handset is otherwise likely to have a 3.2-inch, 480x360 touchscreen from the 9800-series but a faster, 800MHz processor.

The five-megapixel camera should also get 720p video recording capability. The Wikitude augmented reality browser is preloaded, which hints at the inclusion of a magnetic compass as well. The layout of the hardware buttons and other connections is also changed, with the 3.5mm headphone jack sitting on top of the screen, the four navigation touch buttons flush with the screen and the volume rocker located on the same side as the Torch 9850/9860.

When the latest BlackBerry will reach North American stores remains to be seen, but it looks ready for launch in Germany. [via IntoMobile]
