Image corroborates earlier leaks
HTC's unannounced Bliss handset has surfaced in yet another leak ahead of the its formal unveiling. The latest images, though a bit fuzzy, appear to show a hardware design similar to a rendering that surfaced several weeks ago. The image, which was allegedly taken in the wild and posted by Pocketnow, also matches the greenish color scheme that is expected to be aimed at female buyers.
Rumors suggest the Bliss will offer entry-level smartphone features, centered around a single-core processor running at 800MHz. Despite the lackluster internals, the device is said to be paired with a wide range of accessories that follow the feminine theme, including a separate 'charm' that illuminates for notifications. Other color-coordinated accessories are expected to include a Bluetooth headset and a dock.
HTC has yet to confirm any details surrounding the Android-based devices, however FCC documents and rumors point to a Verizon launch before the end of September.
