Kyocera gives out 10K free Android games to spur Echo sales

Kyocera offers 10,000 free game copies for Echo
Kyocera, in an attempt to boost sales of its dual-screen, Android-powered Echo smartphone, announced on Monday it has began offering 12 free premium games. Part of the company's 'Summer of Free Apps' campaign, the games normally range in price from $1 to $5. The first 10,000 downloads are free.
Titles include Burn the Rope, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Monkey Ball, Colours, Coropata, Crazy Dunker, Cupig, Induced Current, SmackTalk!, Space Wander Landing, Sudoku Master and Transporter. All are in the Top Apps shortcut on the Echo phones.
The Echo's two screens combine to offer 4.7 inches of diagonal screen size. The handset costs $100 on a new two-year contract with Sprint.
