Lenovo has begun marketing its LePad A1-07 tablet in China, where the device will arrive ahead of availability in other countries. The company has yet to show the tablet in the US, however the Chinese marketing materials provide a look at the design. The advertisement also confirms that the seven-inch tablet will be based on Android 2.3, rather than a Honeycomb build geared for 10-inch displays.
The device centers around a 1GHz TI OMAP processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 16GB of integrated storage. Other features include a 1024x600 touchscreen, dual cameras, and a microSD slot for storage expansion.
The A1-07 sells in China for ¥2,500 (~$391 USD), however pricing and launch information for the US remains unclear. [via Engadget]
