Intel delaying Cedar Trail-M platform until November?

First chips originally expected in September
Intel has reportedly delayed its launch schedule for Cedar Trail-M chips, which were initially expected to arrive as early as September. Unnamed sources associated with notebook makers have told DigiTimes the platform is now scheduled to arrive in November due to graphics driver issues that needed resolved before passing Windows 7 certification.
Ceder Trail essentially serves as the successor to several Atom offerings, replacing the N475 and N455 with the 1.86GHz N2800 and 1.6GHz N2600. The chips will be based on 32nm technology, while undercutting Atom pricing by 30-50 percent.
Intel is also said to be delaying several other Cedar Trail-D CPUs until November, including the D2700 and D2500. The D-series delay may affect MSI's launch plans for the DC540 mini PC, which was introduced early this year at Computex.
