Netgear NeoTV media streamer shows up at FCC

A freshly spotted FCC filing reveals Netgear will soon release a new networked home media player, the NeoTV 200. Judging by the early specs, it will act as a competitor to Apple's TV and WD's TV Live products. It will stream Netflix and Pandora content but has no USB, SD or eSATA ports.

DLNA compatibility is onboard, however, letting users connect to their home network and media stored on PCs or servers. A remote control will be included, but iOS and Android apps that serve the same functionality will also exist. Pricing, release dates or more detailed specs remain unknown at this time, however.
