T-Mobile doles out Android 2.3.4 for Sensation 4G

The HTC Sensation 4G at T-Mobile has began receiving an over-the-air update to Android 2.3.4. The carrier's support page reveals improvements to battery life and software stability, among other changes. All handsets on the carrier are expected to be updated by September 18.

The function of the Trace dictionary is also now better, as is video playback and Wi-Fi connection. The screen is also said to be more responsive, and icon pixelation has been bettered along with screen and photo resolution. Device reboots are also quicker and otherwise improved.

Those who don't want to wait can check manually if their device is eligible for the update by going into the About phone, HTC Software update menu. [via TMoNews]
