Amazon to name future Kindles after four elements?

Amazon buys KindleEarth.com, Water.com domains

Earlier this month, Amazon bought the domain name KindleAir.com, among others, and now, Fusible found the company also purchased KindleEarth.com and KindleWater.com. Sneaky research by the source shows the two new domains were acquired on July 6 at Go Daddy. It's expected then that future versions of Amazon's Kindle e-book readers may carry the elemental model names.

Which names will be selected remains to be seen, and whether all of them will apply to different models is equally unknown. There are two new Kindles rumored to be released before summer's end, though not many details are known about either. One of them, however, is expected to sport a touchscreen, and both will likely have Internet connections.
