Olympus prices E-PM1 PEN Mini at $500 in US

Olympus E-PM1 PEN Mini due autumn for $500


Olympus has announced the pricing on its forthcoming E-PM1 PEN Mini. When the Micro Four Thirds camera launches in early autumn, with retail for $500. The E-PM1 PEN Mini is the smallest in the Olympus MFT range and features an ultra-fast 35-point auto-focus system.

Other highlights include wireless flash control via a bundled clip-on unit as well as multi exposure, 1080i movie recording with stereo sound. It is also compatible with 20 MFTs lenses and 27 Four Thirds lenses. With the right adapters, it is also compatible with over 500 other lenses.

The 12.3-megapixel PEN Mini will come in just one kit with the new 14-42mm, f3.5-5.6 II R lens but will have its choice of six colors. [via Photography Blog]
