HTC Vigor gets Bluetooth 3.0 certification

The forthcoming HTC Vigor is one step closer to hitting the market after receiving its official Bluetooth certification. In addition to support for the Bluetooth 3.0 standard, the device will support A2DP 1.2 as well as Hands-Free Profile 1.5. The certification for the 1.5GHz dual-core super smartphone is recorded as being approved on July 14.

In addition to the high-speed Qualcomm processor matched with 1GB of RAM, the HTC Vigor will also incorporate the latest Adreno 220 graphics. This will power the device’s rumored 720p, 4.3-inch display. Audio is said to be provided by Beats Audio.

The HTC Vigor is expected to arrive October 6, sporting Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), skinned with HTC’s latest UI, HTC Sense 3.5. [via Droid Life]
