I know Steve had a lot of say in how products were designed but he also put a lot of responsibility into the actual design of the products into the hands of Jonathan Ive. You add Schiller and Forstall plus all the people they manage and you have the people who actually came up with the designs. Steve's input continues to live on within this group. They know what Steve wants and will continue in that direction. The FUD produced by all these speculators is the same old FUD Apple has always had to put up with and overcome. The entire Apple will survive and grow, even without the chunk called Steve (maybe he foresaw his exit when designing the Apple logo, the missing chunk is Steve, now both Steve's).

Nothing will change, nothing at all. Tim Cook has been managing Apple since the beginning of this year, since Steve Jobs took a time-out (as he has done regularly in the last few years). The Apple today is the same Apple from a week ago. SJ will continue to work for the company, will lead the board of directors, will continue to put his perspective on things. And Cook, Ive, Forstall, Schiller and the rest will continue to put these ideas into action.

Why would suppliers see orders change? Was there someone who thought "Hey, when Steve Jobs does resign, people will no longer want to buy the Apple products that are currently selling like hot cakes!"?
