iZON moves video and audio from room to iOS device

Stem Innovation has released a wireless network video camera that streams audio and video to an Apple iPod touch, iPhone or iPad for remote viewing. The iZON Remote Room Monitor can also be controlled through these iOS devices. With it, a user can observe a baby's room or other living area remotely for up to 5 minutes, or can record 30 second segments and upload them automatically to a private YouTube account.

The iZon, with its camera with microphone, can broadcast over EDGE (2G), 3G, or Wi-Fi networks. It offers motion and noise sensing alarms with adjustable sensitivity thresholds.

The system is priced at $130. The accompanying Stem:Connect app isavailable as a download today (free, App Store), although the iZON itself will only be available in October.
