Samsung Epic Touch 4G for Sprint seein in full ear
Sprint's version of the Galaxy S II, the imminent Epic Touch 4G, has just been seen in full through a press shot leak late Sunday. True to expectations, Sprint will have a fairly conservative design on the outside with a slightly more rounded shape, a moved camera flash, and move away from the more iPhone-like navigation controls. Most of the changes in PocketNow's view appear to be the leap to WiMAX-based 4G and a native voicemail app.
The Sprint version is now likely to be a variant on the Galaxy S II LTE with the larger 4.5-inch screen and speedier 1.5GHz processor. It should still carry the eight-megapixel rear camera, two-megapixel front camera, and at least 16GB of built-in space.
All of the US Galaxy S II variants, including those for AT&T and T-Mobile, will be shown off at a special New York City event tomorrow. Some are expected to ship as soon as September.
