Dish Tailgater lets users bring TV on the go

The Dish Network has just revealed some details on an upcoming product for TV watchers on the move such as campers or football fans, theself-contained Tailgater. It contains an HDTV satellite dish and receiver and will retail for $350. The dish inside the enclosure will automatically align itself as needed to pick up signals.

The device ships with 50 feet of coaxial cable and requires a 110V power outlet. An HD box such as the ViP 211k HD Solo single-tuner set-top (about $150) is also required to output the signal to a TV. Watching is simpler, as viewers just need to select the state they are in and the Tailgater will pick up the strongest available signal.

Existing Dish Network subscribers can pay $7 on a month-to-month scheme for the service.
