Windows phone still not acknowledged by Samsung

Samsung may be upgrading its next Windows Phone 7 smartphone with a 1.4GHz processor and NFC support, a purportedly reliable source revealed Tuesday. The phone has been identified tentatively as the Omnia W by WMPowerUser. Along with the speed and short-range wireless support, it's rumored to come with a 3.7 inch screen, 512MB of RAM, and a five-megapixel camera.

The Omnia W is still a subject of speculation. Its existence has not yet been officially acknowledged by Samsung. The Omnia would be a follow-on to the Omnia 7 released in international markets and then in North America as the Focus last October.
