Droid Bionic shows at Verizon stores, due Sept. 8

The upcoming yet still unannounced Motorola Droid Bionic smartphone due at Verizon is all but confirmed to arrive at the carrier on September 8. New sightings have revealed that the dual-core Android phone and its demo kits are shipping to some Verizon stores. This, as well as the TV ads that back the date and a leaked guide all point to the September 8 date as well.

The phone will run on Verizon's high-speed LTE network and may also be the carrier's first to do so with global roaming. At the least, it will be Verizon's first dual-core phone with the 4G inside. Android 2.3.4 is coming as well and will give it GTalk video chat. Its whole design centers on a 4.3-inch, 540x960 touchscreen with an eight-megapixel camera at the back.

It could be one of the most expensive phones on Verizon at $300 on contract.

    announced for Verizon of Bionic

the droid bionic is pretty much verizon's version of the atrix, but slightly better because the screen is 4.3 inches and it has an 8 MP camera instead of the atrix's 4.0 screen and 5 MP camera. however both have the qHD dispaly and the dual core integra 2 1 ghz processor. also, verizon's 4G LTE is significantly better than AT&T's HSPA+ 4G. both phones are still the best android phones spec wise this year. i keep on searching for motorola's mobiles nd i found a very good source for moto info i would like to share with all moto users http://www.motoask.com
