Third-party Tango app to give Windows Phone video calling

Tango to bring early video calling to WP handsets

A Tango video calling app was spotted by WPCentral on an HTC Windows Phone 7 handset, the Omega, at the HTC event in London. The cross-platform app will allow users to hold video chats from Skype and, reportedly, even with Apple's FaceTime. Not to be confused with Microsoft's own Windows Phone update of the same name, the app is already available for Android and iPhone handsets.

Microsoft's own native Windows Phone video calling feature when it comes will be powered by Skype, as the company recently bought the VoIP calling pioneer. Windows Phone 7's Mango update has front camera support as well.
