Headphones integrate playback controls, mic

Beats by Dr. Dre appears to be readying yet another set of headphones, a wireless model that has surfaced in FCC documents. Images from the Commission suggest the Beats Wireless headphones will offer an appearance that fits between the company's Solo- and Pro-series over-ear models, but with an integrated battery and Bluetooth radio for wireless operation.

The Bluetooth connectivity also appears to be utilized for hands-free calling, thanks to a buit-in microphone. Users can also take advantage of playback controls that have been placed on the side of the ear cup.

Beats has yet to formally unveil the wireless model, leaving pricing and launch information unclear.
