HTC Holiday puts down 29Mbps on AT&T 4G network

The upcoming HTC Holiday for AT&T has been photographed running on the carrier's 4G network by BGR. The carrier's first 4G smartphone posted some rather impressive numbers according to the speed tests. In the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas, the phone managed to put down more than 29Mbps on downloads.

This performance beats the fastest on Verizon's 4G LTE network, though it's important to note this is still in the early stages and network traffic is non-existent, since the network hasn't officially launched yet.

The Holiday otherwise gets a 4.5-inch qHD (540x960) display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. and an eight-megapixel camera. Android 2.3.4 is overlaid with HTC's Sense 3.0 interface.

The device is expected to arrive at AT&T within the next few months, coinciding with the launch of the 4G network, though prices are yet to be revealed.
