TiVo has made its quad-tuning Premier Elite DVR official. The device is fitted with four tuners allowing for four channels to be recorded simultaneously on its 2TB hard drive. Users have the ability to record up to 300 hours of shows from Netflix, Pandora, Hulu Plus, Blockbuster, Amazon and YouTube.
The Premier Elite is also the first DVR to receive THX certification, while the device also supports HDMI compliant splitters with up to 16 HDMI ports. MoCA support, including MoCA bridge, is also built-in. When the device becomes available, it will deliver its content by digital cable-only.
Additional connectivity options include e-SATA for external storage, component and composite inputs as well as digital audio, Ethernet and two USB ports.
