Blogger for iOS arrives to match Android

Google closed a big gap in its apps for iPhone and iPod touch owners on Thursday by launching its first-ever version of Blogger for iOS (free, App Store). Like the Android version available for some time, it lets bloggers write posts directly from the phone, either as drafts or taking them live immediately. Posters can flag posts with the phone's location and add photos, either directly from the app or from an existing shot.

Drafts will save online and thus sync both from Android and on on the regular web.

The app currently only shows an English front end but supports creating posts in any language Blogger uses. So far, the app is only tailored to work with iPhones and iPods but will load on any device using iOS 3.2 or later.
