ViewPad 7e now up for pre-order at Amazon

ViewSonic's entry-level ViewPad 7e tablet introduced at IFA is now available for pre-order on Amazon for $200. It sports a seven-inch display with a 1024x600 resolution and a 1GHz, single-core processor, along with 512MB of RAM. Android 2.3 is onboard, overlaid with a 3D interface.

Amazon Kindle software is also present, as are a web browser and multimedia playback capability. An HDMI output, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are all accounted for. The 4GB of built-in storage is expandable by up to 32GB thanks to a microSD memory card slot. A VGA front camera and three-megapixel rear camera are present as well.

Despite the pre-order page, ship dates for the white tablet remain unknown. [via SlashGear]
