Concentrates on comedy content

TBS has launched TBS for iPad, its first foray into iPad video. Coming from the same parent company the title is essentially a mirror of its TNT counterpart, the main feature being access to full-length episodes of shows like Conan or The Office. Gaining access to complete content requires authenticating with a cable or satellite provider.

Outside of episodes, video material includes brief clips and behind-the-scenes pieces. The app also incorporates episode guides, and show schedules with optional reminders. Twitter, Facebook and GetGlue hooks add a social networking component. TBS for iPad is a free download for devices running iOS 4.2 or later.
