Accessories set to launch in September

Logitech has introduced several new wireless accessories geared for the iPad, iPhone and Android-based devices. The headset features Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to listen to music and videos or place calls without a wired connection to the device. A noise-canceling microphone is claimed to reduce background noise, while the integrated battery is said to offer six hours of playback time depending on conditions.

The Wireless Boombox is geared for iOS devices, enabling smartphones and tablets to stream music to speakers up to 33 feet away, according to the company. The speakers feature eight drivers, with different sizes geared for various frequencies.

Both accessories are expected to be available later this month. The headset is paired with a $70 price tag, while the Boombox carries a suggested retail price of $180.
