Latest leak sheds light on launch details
Pantech's Breakout handset may be set to arrive at Verizon stores as early as next week, according to a specifications sheet that was posted by Droid-Life. The fresh leak corroborates earlier reports, suggesting the device will arrive as Verizon's first LTE handset aimed at budget-conscious subscribers.
The device appears to integrate a single-core 1GHz processor to power Android 2.3, which is paired with Pantech's own UI overlay. Other features include a four-inch 480x8000 display, dual cameras, DLNA support, and Wi-Fi hotspot functionality for up to 10 devices.
The latest leak points to September 22 as a likely launch date, however pricing details have yet to surface.
