Nyko ships Zoom for Kinect to reduce range
The Nyko Zoom accessory for the Xbox Kinect add-on is now shipping. Introduced at E3, the lens basically reduces the distance gamers need to stand away from the Kinect. At the E3 show, a demonstration of the gadget in action didn't reveal any glitches or shortcomings.
Nyko says its accessory reduces the distance by up to 40 percent for a single player, or for two in the same space as usually required for one player. The Zoom is for those who live in small apartments or dorm rooms and need to reduce the practical space required for motion control.
The Zoom is now available for $30.
