Fresh rumors, press shots surface

HTC's unannounced Vigor handset may be set to arrive on the market as the Droid Incredible HD, according to an alleged Verizon memo. It remains unclear if the leaked spec sheet, which was posted by Droid-Life, is a genuine document, a fabrication, or a reference to a different smartphone, though it does suggest the Vigor could be rebranded as it hits store shelves next month.

Most of the specs match rumors surrounding the Vigor, however the list provides conflicting information for the screen display. One line points to a WVGA resolution, while the next line claims 1280x720. The latter option falls in line with early reports and the "HD" branding.

Another curious detail is the integrated storage, which is listed as 16GB but complemented by a 32GB microSD card included in the package. If the document is genuine, the Incredible HD would be one of the first to arrive with 48GB of total storage directly from the factory.

The Gingerbread device is expected to integrate a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, an eight-megapixel primary sensor, a two-megapixel front-facing camera, and Beats by Dr. Dre sound processing and earbuds.

Aside from the rebranding rumor, the device was also shown in yet another image leak. A press rendering posted by Pocketnow provides a look at the handset's facade.

The leaked specs list suggests the Vigor/Incredible HD may arrive at stores on October 13, which coincides with the end of CTIA's San Diego conference.
