7-inch TouchPad Go seen live in leaked photos

The TouchPad Go tablet from HP, was due to ship just a few weeks after HP decided to drop its webOS hardware, has now shown up in live images. A prototype of the 7-inch tablet, codenamed Opal, was apparently in the hands of a user from a Chinese forum site for three months. The specs on the back of the unit match those revealed in the FCC filing from August.

These include a 4:3 aspect ratio touchscreen, which has the same 1024x768 resolution as the larger 10-inch TouchPad and the iPad. Also identical are the 1.5GHz Snapdragon from higher-end TouchPads and 16GB of storage space, along with front and rear cameras. An NFC module and 3G radio were also listed in the specs.

It's not expected that HP will ship the TouchPad Go, even in a clearance, but its parts could show in the remaining TouchPad stock. [via This is my next]
