LG Optimus LTE gets real photos, specs

LG's LU6200 4G phone has been spotted live by Korea's Daum with more details. Its centerpiece will still be the 4.5-inch, 720p display, but it should also carry a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon. It's now also believed to have a more elegant Optimus LTE title, at least at present.

As shown, the hardware is still using Android 2.3.5 and may ship that way at first. Ice Cream Sandwich will be an option later, the leak claimed.

An eight-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front camera will flesh out the design.

A release could come as soon as early October, although SK Telecom's U+ services have been pushed back and could affect the Optimus LTE's arrival as well. Its network choice makes it a strong candidate for US carriers looking to add LTE phones. Verizon could be shortlisted given its launch of the LG Revolution in the spring. [via PocketDroid]
