Windows 8 dev tablet eBay bid up to $2,700
A few of the more than 5,000 Samsung Windows 8 developer tablets given out to the attendees of last week's Build conference have now shown up for sale on eBay. The prices on the auction site have reached as high as $2,700. Based on the Slate PC 7, the device gets some detailed changes.
These include newer firmware, an Option GTM67x chipset for Wi-Fi, phone, and cellular connections, and a Silicon Labs chip for USB to UART-based connections. There is also TPM 1.2 for security, Bluetooth LE, a gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor as well as NXP's NFC sensor.
The 11.6-inch tablets are powered by a Core i5 processor and get 4GB of RAM. The SSDs have 64GB of storage space. [via WinRumors]
