Asus has quietly expanded its computer offerings with the new U46SV-DH51, a 14-inch notebook that has surfaced at several online retailers. The device features a 1366x768 display, mounted with an offset hinge and surrounded by a black bezel, while the entire brushed-champagne housing is said to be 10.8-inches thick with a weight of 4.85 pounds.

The notebook is based on Intel's 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M processor, paired with discrete GeForce graphics and 4GB of RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a DVD burner. The eight-cell battery is claimed to support up to ten hours of run time.

The U46SV is slated to arrive on October 1, with pre-orders available for $880 at EXcaliberPC.com. [via Laptoping.
