Latest Kingdom variant to he slated for US market

HTC's Hero S handset has surfaced with US Cellular branding, alongside the Motorola Electrify that was confirmed earlier this month. The Hero S appears to represent yet another US-bound CDMA variant of HTC's Kindgom handset, offering many of the same features as the Hero 4G that was recently rumored to be headed to Sprint.

The Hero S is expected to integrate a four-inch display with qHD resolution, along with a single-core Snapdragon CPU running at 1.2GHz. Other features are said to include dual cameras, including a five-megapixel primary sensor, and 768MB of RAM.

US Cellular has yet to announce pricing details or launch information for the Hero S. [via PocketNow]
