Specifics of availability & price remain unknown

The Samsung Galaxy S Glide may soon be coming to Rogers. MobileSyrup has gotten its hands on one of these elusive sliders and reports that the Canadian wireless provider may push the phone out to the market "just in time for the holiday." The phone will revolve around a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and run Android OS 2.3.

The Glide will be powered by a a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and so should be closer to the Galaxy S II than the original. It should incorporate a four-inch Super AMOLED display rather than the 4.3-inch Plus screen, but it will still have an eight-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.2-megapixel facing front camera.

It's not known when the Glide might hit the US or other Canadian providers, but it's known that this will be the mysterious slider to be carried by AT&T. Rogers has not yet made the phone official.
