HTC Vigor media leaks specs
The HTC Vigor had some of its details spoiled through a set of media files leaked Friday. At least some of the wallpapers seen by Android Police are 1440x1280 and support notions that the Vigor could be the first Android phone with a 720p (1280x720) screen. The boot animation also shows the 4G LTE logo for Verizon and Beats Audio.
Conspicuously absent, however, is the signature eye animation that Verizon adds to its Droid-branded phones. It might be added later, but it casts doubt on earlier leaks that might have the Vigor called the Droid Incredible HD. A choice of the sort would be odd given the high performance and the attention the Vigor would bring to Verizon's Android line.
The phone was already known to have a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon but may make some sacrifices for the big screen, such as a lower than usual five-megapixel back camera. It could be the first phone after the Rhyme to use HTC's Sense 3.5.
Verizon could carry the Vigor as soon as October 6, although it may be overshadowed by an iPhone 5 that could arrive on October 7.
