HTC Runnymede shows in real life for first time

HTC's extra-large Runnymede, possibly called the Bass, has been spotted in real life for the first time through a video (below). True to form, it has a very large and probably 4.7-inch screen. Beats audio is in view, although it's notable the phone is using HTC's older Sense 3.0 and not the 3.5 seen in the Rhyme and possibly the Vigor.

The smartphone is considered more of an Android parallel to the Titan and could have strictly middling performance with a single-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon. Accordingly, it might stop at recording 720p video, although an eight-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera otherwise put it in the top tier.

Most expect the Runnymede/Bass to arrive before the end of the year, although it's not clear where it would go in terms of carriers once it goes live. Beats points to an American release at some point, although none have been identified so far.
