Canon to show new Pixma printers, EOS cams?

In addition to and ahead of the November 3 Hollywood event, Canon will hold one in New York on October 26. The teaser, courtesy of Canon Rumors, reveals both Pixma and EOS logos. As such, it's likely to focus equally on printers and DSLRs.

Rumors say that no new DSLRs from Canon are due in 2011, however. Most have been hoping for a 5D Mark III, but other candidates could include a full-frame 1Ds Mark IV or a camera that might slot between the 7D and 5D Mark II.

The more mysterious November 3 event in Hollywood, California, is believed to include an announcement of an ultra-high end 4K resolution video camera, perhaps using a new Super 35mm sensor.
