Return cluods relationship with Microsoft

The confusing management situation at Yahoo appears to have taken a new turn, sources said Wednesday. Co-founder and former CEO was reported by SAI as having re-assumed leadership over at the beleaguered search engine provider. This comes in the aftermath of former CEO, Carol Bartz, being fired abruptly last month.

Yang has been a lightning rod for controversy. He is both loved as a co-founder of Yahoo and hated as its CEO. He was removed from the CEO post in 2009 to help facilitate the partnership deal between Yahoo and Microsoft. It is not clear the impact Yang's return will have upon the relationship between the two companies.

Officially, Yang is still Chief Yahoo, a title meant to respect his involvement in creating Yahoo but one without the powers of a CEO.
