Documents corroborate rumors

Corroborating earlier rumors, HTC's Raider 4G smartphone appears to have passed through the FCC on its way to AT&T. The Commission tested a device that matches the Raider, also known as the HTC Holiday in other markets. The test documents suggest the handset will be supported by AT&T's 4G LTE and 3G HSPA+ networks.

The Android 2.3 device is expected to offer a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, an eight-megapixel primary camera with an f2.2 aperture, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing sensor. Other features are said to include a 4.5-inch display with 540x960 resolution.

AT&T and HTC have yet to publicly confirm US launch plans for the Raider 4G. [via Android Community]
