Mad Catz Detonator headset for XBox 360 ships

Mad Catz has began shipping its Detonator stereo gaming headset for the Xbox 360. Introduced in June, the headset is special because it's the first to be officially co-branded with Microsoft and integrates tightly with the Xbox 360. It's wired and connects to the Xbox thanks to an included USB adapter.

An inline remote lets users make adjustments to voice and game volume as well as muting either. It has relatively50mm neodymium drivers and sports a detachable boom microphone. It can also be used as a traditional headphone set through a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Selectable Voice Monitoring feature lets users pick whether they want to hear their own voice or not.

The headset costs $80 and is now available.
