Nexus Prime and more tracked in Verizon system
Three flagship Android phones Verizon have surfaced in the Cellebrite catalog system that both confirms their Verizon attachments as well as that they will ship soon. As found by Droid-Life, the highlight is the Nexus Prime, the official Google-blessed Ice Cream Sandwich phone. The Samsung-made phone has a Verizon-specific SCH-i515 model number and is mentioned by name, hinting that Google has settled on a name.
The Droid HD, or XT912, has also popped up and may be the final name for the Motorola Spyder. It may be an effective quick follow-up to the Droid Bionic with a Super AMOLED screen in place of the LCD and a faster 1.2GHz processor.
A third entry for a PH98100 shows the HTC Vigor. It should be HTC's first phone with a 720p display and carry a twin-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor.
The first to be made public should be the Nexus Prime, which will show at Samsung's Unpacked event at the CTIA expo on October 11, although it may not arrive until November 3. HTC's Vigor could be in stores on October 13 or 20. The Droid HD doesn't have a firm launch schedule and could come significantly later or wait until 2012.
