Nikon D800 ISO specs leaked, to get two lenses
Some more unofficial specs on the upcoming Nikon D800 have been revealed by Nikon Rumors. The D700 replacement should retain that camera's ISO sensitvity range, or at least be very close, with a 100-6,400 spread and respective low and high options of ISO 50 and ISO 25,600. It might also launch alongside two other products, likely to be lenses.
Other than the D800 and a new consumer DX-series lens due for official reveal later in October, these two lenses are the only other two Nikon products due for announcement in 2011, the source said. A special edition or secondary model based on the D800 without an anti-aliasing filter should also be due out in the near future as well.
As the camera is due for an imminent release, it's expected spy shots of it being tested or used in the field will soon appear.
Previous reports gave the D800 a 36.3-megapixel sensor and a price of about $3,900. If accurate, it should be officially announced on October 26, with shipping expected late in November.
