LG Optimus 7 phone targets high-end users

LG has partnered with German fashion house Jil Sander to create a designer smartphone. The Jil Sander Mobile phone is a variant of LG's Optimus 7. The phone is more up to date, howver, and already runs Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango).

As a consequence, it carries a 3.8-inch, 800x480 display, a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor, HSDPA for 3G, a five-megapixel autofocus camera capable of 720p recording, and 16GB of internal memory. Preloaded onto the phone is a special Jil Sander app for browsing the design house's clothing and accessories, shopping online, or locating a nearby store.

The Jil Sander Mobile is available starting today in the UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Austria. Its expected price is €300 ($403 USD). [via Unwired View]
