Voyager Pro HD allows checking weather with voice

Plantronics kicked off CTIA with the Voyager Pro HD, a Bluetooth headset that will answer incoming phone calls as soon as users insert it into their ears, so there is no need to press any buttons. It also works in reverse and will automatically disable itself and users will need to answer calls using their handsets. Also, any streaming audio will also be paused if the headset is removed from a wearer's ear.

The call button is locked when the headset isn't worn to ensure no ghost dials are made either. Voice alerts announce talk time, volume, connection and more, and iPhone and Android smartphones running version 3.0 or newer will display the headset's battery status on their screen. A Vocalyst service lets users manage e-mail, check weather and update Facebook using nothing but voice prompts.

The headset is now shipping, priced at $100.
