ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 due in Europe on November 7?

Euro Transformer 2 price set at $850 equivalent

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 2 may arrive in Europe on November 7, according to a listing on UK online store, Lambda-Tek. Tabletowo found the listing along with some more information, though most of its post was pulled at the request of NVIDIA Poland. The store's description confirms a couple of specs, however, chief among them the use of NVIDIA's quad-core Tegra 3 platform.

The tablet, the TF201-1U020A, would otherwise get 1GB of RAM, 32GB of flash storage, and a 10.1-inch display. It runs on Android 3 (most likely 3.2) and may be gold in color. The Tegra 3 chip clocks in at 1.5GHz. The tax-inclusive price is also listed as £537.85, which translates roughly to $850. Before tax, it sits at £448.21 (about $700).

The tablet has been delayed from its original mid-August arrival, though this was a rumor based mostly on NVIDIA's own goals for making the Tegra 3 available. NVIDIA is planning a substantial leap in raw speed and will have a fifth core used just to handle basic tasks while leaving the four other cores to give their full performance.
