Verizon version of HTC Vigor to be called Rezound

The HTC Vigor smartphone has been spotted in Verizon's Device Management system with the Rezound name. Droid-Life sources allegedly confirm that the phone will be renamed as such, and the name was rumored when the handset first appeared in unofficial channels. The major specs are impressive and include a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, a 4.3-inch 720p touchscreen, and LTE-based 4G.

There should also be Beats by Dr. Dre branding on the handset, while Android 2.3.4 should be preloaded along with Sense 3.5. The rear will house an eight-megapixel camera, with the front getting a two-megapixel shooter. Bluetooth 3.0 is believed to be onboard, and the handset should get 1GB of RAM.

Exactly when Verizon will get the device remains to be seen, but some believe it will arrive before the end of October.
