Nokia 710 specs slip early

The profile (since pulled). Badged only as the as yet unannounced 710, it has the same 1.4GHz single-core, ARM Cortex-A8 chip and 3.7-inch display. Its specs appear to be incomplete as it's described using Nokia's old tablet OS but having an "undisclosed" browser and a micro SIM card slot that would never have been attached to Nokia's old platform.

Those same details suggest slightly less ambitious hardware with an LCD in place of an AMOLED and a more basic 8GB of built-in storage. It would compensate with a five-megapixel, 28mm equivalent wide angle camera and 512MB of RAM.

Nokia's mention comes just days before Nokia World and alludes to the company getting its site ready to reveal the 710 and any other Windows Phones. At least one other phone, the Nokia 800 (Sea Ray) has also been floating around in corporate leaks. [via My Nokia Blog]
