HTC Radar 4G dated and priced

T-Mobile on Monday put out a hard ship date and price for the HTC Radar 4G. Its first Windows Phone 7.5 hardware ships on November 2. The full-touch phone costs $100, albeit only after a $50 mail-in rebate.

The Radar is comparatively entry-level in HTC's new Windows Phone mix but still has a 3.8-inch display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and 8GB of space. A five-megapixel rear camera is joined by a VGA (0.3-megapixel) front camera for self-portraits and eventual Skype video chat.

Windows Phone 7.5 adds multitasking, a much faster and modernized Internet Explorer 9 web browser, instant messaging integration, new voice recognition and numerous other subtler upgrades.
