Winamp 1.2 brings Mac syncing in beta, more

AOL has just released Winamp for Android 1.2 (free, Android Market), which brings with it Mac support, albeit in beta. It allows syncing with Macs with WinAmp for Mac Sync Beta, letting users import their iTunes libraries]. There is also wireless syncing between desktop and phone.

Other free features include on-demand streaming of popular album releases, daily MP3 music downloads, and access to over 47,000 Shoutcast Internet radio stations. Users can customize the sound of their headsets, and can stream local audio playback through the Winamp Media Engine.

Winamp also updated its Winamp Pro paid app with a customizable home screen, a ten-band equalizer, the ability to browse by folder, FLAC file support, crossfade, gapless playback, replay gain, and personalized station recommendations.
