Galaxy Nexus coming to Europe on November 17

Samsung Mobile revealed over Twitter that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will arrive in Europe on November 17. With Samsung and Google attempting to launch the phone worldwide at the same time, this could also mean the launch date will arrive stateside within days. The first Android 4.0 handset isn't yet officially dated for the US, but rumors put it at a November 10 release date at Verizon.

There has also been talk of a November 3 arrival date stateside. Whenever it does come, the handset will be available through Verizon and possibly other carriers. It's also expected to cost $300 on a two-year contract and support LTE.

The phone's main highlights outside of its OS include a 720x1280, 4.65-inch curved Super AMOLED touchscreen, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, its relatively slim 8.9mm thickness, and a very fast five-megapixel camera.
