Barnes & Noble rumored launching Nook Color 2 on Nov. 7

Nook Color 2 due on November 7, sources say
The rumored Nook Color 2 may be out on November 7, The Digital Reader reported, citing three separate sources. All of them are Barnes & Noble employees, with one of them saying that a big, Nook-related announcement is coming on November 7. A team meeting touched on it related to the revamp of stores' Nook displays and sections.
If true, the event would predate the shipping of Amazon's Kindle Fire, which is due to come out on November 15.
Whether the lineup will include three Nooks for an extended period of time is also being put into doubt. The entry-level model may be dropped in order to allow price-drops for the other two devices. The highest-end model, an Android tablet, is so far codenamed the Acclaim and will likely be priced to compete with Amazon's Kindle Fire.
